Pizza with Smoked Salmon

One night I ordered a pizza with shrimp and lobster in white sauce. I liked it!!! And it got me thinking of all the salmon fillets that were in my freezer that I had caught during the last fall's salmon run I fished up in northern Michigan.

I 'm here to speak about smoked salmon pizza but if you have never fished a salmon run you are missing out. Not only on fishing but the natural beauty the fishing experience provides. Here's a very short video of the fishing experience up in Northern Michigan:

Look at those salmon fight Yeah I loved it!!! You can never understand how entertaining and fun this is until you try it for yourself. Below this video is a video that gives great instructions on how to make delicious smoked salmon pizza. I made this pizza more than twice with the salmon fillets I harvested from my fishing trip.

The recipe in the video below is the very first recipe I followed to make my fish pizza. I do think this lady does a very good job at explaining how. But as I made this more and more often I also search for more examples. Another recipe I followed for smoked salmon pizza. I can't remember but I think it is a Wolfgang Puck recipe.
